Hi,I'm Kathryn. I go to Meadowbank Primary School and I'm 9 turning 10 this year. I have a family cat called Saffron from the SPCA and two rats which live in my room and get quite smelly.One is a Chinese black hooded and is about 38cm with tail and without tail 26cm.The other is a champagne and he is called Lester he is 42cm with tail and 28cm without the tail.I originally come fro

This week at school the year fives have been doing E.O.T.C. and I'm going to tell you all about it.Monday-Oraki Marae 3rd best (First day of EOTC
Highlight-I loved the poi dancing because it was so fun!*!*! Laugh-When we were doing the poi dance lots of people were hitting themselves with the poi making everybody laugh!*!*! Weird-When we got there we had to rub noses (honge)as a Maori greeting and it was quite funny!*!*!

Tuesday-Tree Adventures 1st best

Highlight-Actually
doing all of the courses. It took your breath away but it was well worth it !*!*!Laugh- When we were doing the flying fox my shirt went up!*!*! Downer-I didn't do course 4.

Wednesday -orientiiring 4th bestHighlight-I found a few clues!*!*! Laugh-no data .Weird-The first course that I did (number 2)was all mixed up and had the wrong data which really confused us and caused us to be last !*!*!Downer-A girl called Evangeline triped over grazed her knee and broke her wrist.Downer 2- We had to walk around the park lots of times and most of us got really tired.
Thursday-Mt Albert wave pools 2nd best (last day of EOTC)

Highlight it was really fun and you could play with your friends sort of !*!*!Laugh-When going down the slide I went upside down(I think) Downer we didn't get to stay all day.Garden to Table

Garden to Table(G2T) Is a program where that all the year 4's and 5's do. It is when a class will split into groups and three groups will go with Mrs Slyvester to do cooking or with Mrs Masters to do gardening.Every year 4 and 5 class at M.B.S does this once every thre weeks.
G2t-Week 8
This week I was in
the garden and we did a lot of work on planting the runner strawberry plants and we got to harvest things for the Anything -at-all Salad .I really liked the marange with fejoa it was really tasty.

Week 3 of term two
This garden to tabel I was in the garden with my Mum.As my Mum was there I got to chose who was in my group and what we did.First I collected potatoes.It took ages to find them because they were so small.Second we
cleaned and coted the sighns with pva glue so the looked new.Then it was time to go to the dinning hall the potatoes and cumara salad was lovely as was the salad the rice and the flat bread.
Week six of term two.
I was in the kitchen this week and I made a salad.We also made a spicy salad dressing with alot of garlic!!!When we all came in to eat there was a devine chocolate mouse and tasty kumara weges witha wkite sauce!! Our salad didn't tast as bad as I thought it would judeing by the things that went into it!!!!Cheak again soon for more !!!!
